I am thankful for my family members still living, and for those members of my family that have passed on with whom I will be reunited someday.
I am thankful for my friends, the ones I know, and those I have yet to meet. No one is alone that has friends.
I am thankful for the gift of life. I have lived long and experienced much, none of which I would change, for my successes and failures have brought me to where I am today. Right where I am supposed to be.
But most of all I am thankful for God’s love that holds me safe and secure at all times. His caring and compassion for all His children, wherever they live, whatever they believe, and whoever they have become. His unconditional love is always there, at all times, for everyone.
For these things I am thankful as I enjoy this Thanksgiving holiday.
