Near Death Experiences Teach Love

Near death experiences teach love. The experiencers find themselves in a brilliant light surrounded by pure unconditional love. The light has substance, caring, acceptance, and compassion for the experiencer. While there are many more events that happen in the average NDE this one is the most important. Love is the life changing part of the experience. It is the hardest part to describe, and the most difficult to reconcile when returning back to the physical life.

It is something you will never forget no matter how old you become. It is something no one can duplicate, the profound change in personality that near death experiencers go through. It is special, it is real, and it is spiritual.

Red-Letter Christians

This is something unexpected. While other Christian groups are forming into anti-abortion, anti-gay, anti-liberal, or anti-immigration groups there is another kind of Christians forming a group called the red-letter Christians. They are called red-letter because they have red-letter editions of the Bible, and are following the teachings of Jesus. Love one another, love your enemies, judge not, forgive, go the second mile, and serve your fellow man in ways that will help them the best.

They don’t picket abortion clinics, they don’t exclude gays, nor call them names, they don’t involve themselves in politics, they are devoted to feeding the hungry, healing the sick, visiting the shut-ins, and helping others. Their goal is to love as Jesus loved, and taught from the hillsides of Jerusalem. They are reviving the core of Christian teachings, turning back the clock to the beginnings of Christianity. God bless them, the Christians are back on the job of helping and loving others.
