The Beginning of a NDE.
When I was 10 and 1/2 I had an unusual experience.It was a hot summer day and my parents took my brothers, sister and myself swimming. We were all gathered at the end of the dock where the water was deep, and I remember standing still wondering when would be a good time to jump into the water, when all of a sudden I felt the force of my Dad push me into the water.
The next thing I remember was opening my eyes wide open and water going into my nose and mouth while going in and kind of struggling to get air when all of a sudden I just remember floating underwater for what seemed like quite awhile, but was probably only seconds, and then seeing everything as crystal clear as if I were outside of the water.
I remember seeing many fish swim by, and the colors of these fish were magnificent, the colors were so bright, my vision so sharp and clear, my eyes not affected at all by the lake water. As the fish swam by me they seemed to be uneffected by my presence, it was as if I were a part of the underwater world.
I also remember feeling an overwhelming sense of peace and calmness and I specifically remember this because I did not want this feeling to end.
The next thing I knew I was up above water gagging and gasping for air, and remember my eyes burning from having my eyes open under water. Everything happened so fast that I did not know what to think of it and never told anyone this until about 6 years ago. If this is not a NDE then could you explain this experience which happened to me over 28 years ago.
